Does it GET any better than that? With Linda at IM CDA today, along with my buddy Jennie Hansen and her husband Dave… it’s going to be an amazing day of tracking race coverage, that’s for sure!

In 2 weeks we’ve got Musselman, a race I am ecstatic to be racing. I have been collecting stories over on the Musselman facebook page…. stories of what brings you to the Musselman. Throughout both races that weekend I will be telling those stories.

We are also remembering Michael Coyle and Lanlin Lee. Their families will be racing and cheering in their honor, and we will celebrate their lives. It’s going to be emotional. I have even bough two dresses to wear announcing. This is that important to me!

I have spent the last week resting and field testing. I have my numbers, I have my wingman, I have my focus which is to allow training time to be Mary time. I’ve called a restart a few times now, and now it’s time to get on it. No longer will I let fear of what might happen again hold me back. I am healthy and I am free of what has been haunting me. It’s time to go on dreaming and living again. It’s time to feel the wind in my helmet instead of the air of the fan. It’s time to hold the handlebars less tight and let the acceleration happen.

It’s go time. And I am craving it. I am craving the intuition, the data, the tracking and the breaking free all over again. It’s time to celebrate and to look forward to some real excitement this fall on all fronts. Athletically, professionally, everywhere.

It’s time to let go.
